I define lifestyle photography as a mix of documentary and stage approaches. Documentary photography shows us people in daily life when they do not even know that they are photographed. Staged photography captures artificially constructed scenes, posing and models looking straight to the camera. Lifestyle photography captures the moments that could organically happen in real life, but at the same time, it is gently directed by a photographer, who controls the light, movements, and emotions of people in the frame. I usually give people some directions and starting points and then capture the moments which look like they were snatched from life. Lifestyle photoshoot can be considered for a family, engagement, maternity, travel, portrait, et cetera.

Once we set up a time and discuss the details of your shooting, we send you the contract to sign and an invoice to book the session. 25% of the total price has to be paid in advance to hold your date. If you need to reschedule, please do it at least 10 days in advance to set up a new date, otherwise the deposit is non-refundable. The rest of the payment should be paid on the day of your session.

The locations for engagement\family photoshoots are usually parks and beaches in Los Angeles County. Though the locations are negotiable and if you have some preferences let us know. The photo shoot can be done in some specific places like amusement parks, rooftops, ranchos, et cetera, it just may cost additional fees.

Each photo shoot is unique, so to create a harmonious look we have to keep in mind your favorite colors and style as well as the colors of the location and the time of the shooting. We are more than happy to assist you in choosing the most suitable outfit for you!

Though props are not necessary, it may help you look natural in front of the camera, especially when it comes down to a session with kids. It may be tricky to direct children on how to pose, so it is always a good idea to have their favorite toys to keep them amused. As for lifestyle and engagement sessions, we have two approaches: 1. We can base the prop choice on anything you usually love to do in your life, like surfing, baking, dancing, playing musical instruments et cetera. 2. Use any neutral props we would love to offer to you: suitcases, swings, picture frames, baskets, books, balloons, hammocks, or something else you have in mind.

Don't worry! We don't expect you to be the model and we'll do our best to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera! If you have never done a professional photo shoot before, you will be excited to see how beautiful you are! We have a lot of tricks to make you look your best on your shooting day; so you can use these tricks anytime whether you are taking a selfie by smartphone or having a professional photoshoot.

Usually, it takes no more than 2-3 weeks to get your lifestyle pictures and 4-6 weeks for your wedding.

I do! I have great experience in Photoshop and I can tweak the photos according to your needs. Although the basic retouching is included in any package, I would be happy to apply any corrections you want for an additional price, depending on the task difficulties.
